Often called a builder’s clean, this service is different from routine house cleaning. Fine dust can settle across several surfaces, newly installed fittings need an appropriate method, and the best sequence depends on which trades have finished. The property must be safe and ready for the agreed cleaning work.

Dust and accessible surfaces
Request cleaning of accessible ledges, skirtings, doors, switches, fixtures, empty cabinetry interiors and other agreed surfaces after the relevant trades finish.
Wet areas
Kitchens and bathrooms
Identify installed cabinetry, benchtops, basins, baths, showers, toilets, mirrors and fittings that are ready for an appropriate cleaning method.
Finishing
Floors, glass and tracks
State the hard-floor types, carpet rooms, accessible windows, frames and tracks. External or high-access work must be reviewed separately.

Important exclusions
Cleaning is not waste removal or specialist rectification.
Construction debris, skip-bin work, hazardous or unidentified material, active trade areas, unsafe high access, paint correction, adhesive removal, grout or silicone rectification and other specialist residue work are not automatically included. Do not move, disturb or expose material that may require a licensed specialist.
If residue or access is uncertain, describe it in the enquiry and provide privacy-safe project photos directly when RNS requests them. RNS will confirm whether the task is suitable, needs a separate specialist or must be excluded before anyone attends.
